Tianjin University Wang Chonghui Research Association

On October 10, 2016, at the 135th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Wang Chonghui, a distinguished alumnus of law at Peiyang University (former TJU), TJU formally established Wang Chonghui Research Association. Its executive director is Dean Sun Youhai, and its Vice President is Professor Wei Jianxin. Its purpose is to research in depth on Wang Chonghui’s ideas of law, to learn from the past to know innovation, and to summarize experience to provide references for the current state administration.
On the day of the establishment of Wang Chonghui Research Association, the seminar on the Legal Achievements of Wang Chonghui is held. Ms. Wang Yiren, a descendant of Mr. Wang Chonghui, and experts and scholars from Harvard University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nankai University and other colleges and universities got together to discuss on two topics: Wang Chonghui from Beiyang University and Wang Chonghui’s Legal Ideas.
Wang Chonghui Research Association is preparing the publication of Wang Chonghui Legal Research Collection, which is expected to be officially released in 2018.
